When we learn a foreign language, we often think that taking classes is the best way. However, what do you do if your teacher is not good? And how often should you take classes?
Florian, a student of computer science, world traveler, and passionate language learner did not have this problem, because everyone around him was his teacher and his “classes” were happening all the time. While traveling around Taiwan, he started to learn this extremely interesting language simply asking people around how to say this or that. This proved to be very efficient, as he could master the language to the point when he could have a normal conversation. Now, he still dreams of becoming fluent in Chinese.
We talked about many more things like why it is important to be persistent and naive. We discussed also Florian´s fear of failure and how he has changed as a person in recent years.
